So there I was feeling in control when this splash of colour hits me and knocks me off my feet. As I try to pick myself up, thinking life is beautiful, someone I really admire says, Camellias leave me cold! So I pick myself off the floor again, convinced that I must simply be seeing things, but decide to take a photograph just in case I am wrong… and that the permanent state of concussion I feel is really quite normal.



  1. As a budding Game Development student I find that expanding my knowledge in other areas useful. I ran across your blog and was taken with the photos. The flower is lovely, but what about the color and lighting do you find pleasing? In other words help me to understand how to judge it. Thanks.

  2. The colours are dazzling, aren't they? You wouldn't expect to find such a strong contrast between white and pink, would you? Furthermore, camellia leaves reflect the light powerfully and therefore sparkle.
